Hi All,

How are you all? I had been a bit unwell with the recent weather changes. I had bad dry cough and so it was really difficult to keep up with the blogging and pending reviews. If you have been following me on Instagram you might be knowing that I purchased some products.

Wait, before you make me feel guilty with the another shopping haul thought, let me clarify. I have stocked up some essentials and some products I had been longing to get hold. The pre GST sales were everywhere but I somehow ignored them. But not when my wishlist products were on sale. Let's hop on to the products I purchased

Lakme 9 to 5 CC Cream in shade Bronze (275 INR)
The CC cream and concealer I bought before going on the vacation. I had to attend two weddings and thought of doing some something to hide my pigmentation below lower lip. However I ended up using just the CC cream on the wedding function day ☹️. With my acne marks and pigmentation being a bit lightened up, Lakme CC cream suits me.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer stick in the shade Toffee Caramel (330) (550 INR)
The shade initially didn't suit me, but now since my pigmentation has reduced a bit it blends okay sort. I wanted a liquid concealer from the Maybelline Fit Me range, however the SA at Health n Glow outlet handed me this and I bought it 😁😁😁.

Bon Organics Aloe Vera Shampoo (124 INR for 100 gms)
I recently found my HG shampoo and have restocked it. I want to do a full review on this one. This is a long pending review from my end 🙈🙈.

Blend It Raw Apothecary Rosehip Seed Oil (530 INR for 50ml with shipping)
After hearing some amazing things about Rosehip oil, I always wanted to try one. With the pre GST mayhem, there was a flat 50% sale and I immediately grabbed this one. I also got a good quantity at the price, but later on realised that finishing 50ml will take up a lot of time. Anyway amd happy I grabbed it.

I go out a lot these days, and I needed some sling bags (I didn't own any till date 😭😭🙄). I was offered free shopping from tosave.com to pen down my shopping experience. I was pretty happy with my shopping experience and I bought two doing bags, one is leather material and other one is cotton. I totally like both the sling bags.

I have long back skipped using moisturiser due to the fear of getting acne (silly me 😛). But after realising my mistake, I never do so. Recently I received the Blue Nectar products. I have read some rave reviews of the Blue Nectar face wash. I was excited to try this cream from them. Let's hop on to the review to see if it lives upto the claims or not.

Brand claims - Blue Nectar Shubhr Ayurvedic Sandalwood Brightening and Radiance Cream is a powerful Ayurveda based formula created from the finest of Sandalwood. Rich Sandalwood along with 13 other Vital herbs helps to lighten and brighten the Uneven Skin, Reduce Dark Circles and Pigmentation Marks. Apply the cream after cleaning and toning.

Directions for usage - Take a small quantity of cream and apply on face and neck area with upward strokes for 1-2 minutes.

Key Ingredients - Aloevera, Mulethi, Yashad Bahsma, Manjistha, Haldi, Glycerin, Sandalwood Oil, Ashwagandha, Kewra Flower, Khumani Oil, Til Oil, Coconut Oil, Apple Juice.

My experience
The product is packed in a square, plastic packaging with golden colour lid and jar. I find an uncanny similarity in the packaging with Votre Advanced Multi Vitamin Night Crème. The jar isn't heavy though, as it seems. The jar also has an inner lid to prevent product spillage. The jar is safe enough to carry during travelling, but due caution is to be taken of not dropping the jar.

Coming to the consistency of the cream, it is of medium consistency, neither being too thick nor too runny. The cream spreads easily and gets absorbed in the skin absolutely in no time. It instantly evens the skin tone by plumping up the skin with it's moisture content. The cream doesn't leave behind a film or any creamy feeling either. The cream is cream coloured with a slightest hint of orange colour.

The fragrance is mesmerizing since it contains Sandalwood oil. The fragrance lingers for around 1-2 hours after which it fades away. If I use the cream during day time, the fragrance doesn't bother me ( I have super sensitive nose 😭). If I use the cream at night time, instead of sleeping peacefully, I tend to sniff the fragrance endlessly and tend to lose my sleep. I have regularly used the cream for over 3 weeks (during day time and some days at night time). However with the night time experience, I make it a point to use it during day time only. Although it is advisable to use at any time or both day and night time.

Now the claims, the cream has given me a glowing skin with regular usage of 2 and half weeks. I do find my skin a bit brightened (don't confuse this with fairness). The skin feels instantly refreshed and smooth. It provides sufficient moisturization to the skin without causing any white heads. If you have oily skin, you can relate to what I am saying. Most of the creams I have used cause white heads with regular usage. But this one is an exception.

I would specially like to mention here that the cream has a potent formula of staying true to it's claims while not making the skin oily or causing white heads. However the cream would suit only oily to normal skin beauties. But the cream doesn't claim to suit dry skinned beauties so that's not a problem at all. However having a sensitive nose I couldn't use the cream at night. Since this is a personal preference it doesn't mean you will mind it, many people enjoy fragrance of oils in products.

Recommendation
The product lives upto the claims and helps in giving a glowing skin with regular usage. The high price point of the product can be attributed to the Sandalwood oil, which itself is costly. However good the product is, I wouldn't tag it as a must buy, but it's definitely recommended if you are into luxury skincare products.

I have repurchased Mama Earth products quite a few times for my son, the body wash and shampoo to be specific. I totally like their packaging as I have travelled while carrying them and never had a problem at all. Recently they came up with their Mama Range meant solely for new moms and moms-to-be. Let's head straight to the review and see whether the lotion is a hit or miss.

Brand claims and Ingredients

My experience
The product packaging is a total winner, having double caps which fit in tightly as well as a pump up packaging. The packaging has not even a sleek chance of leakage. The pump up packaging works fine but dispenses small amount of body lotion. So if you want more amount of lotion you may have to pump endlessly. But since the packaging is very travel friendly I don't have any qualms regarding the small pump size.

Coming to the consistency of the body lotion it is a bit thick (read non runny) and colour is white. The lotion spreads easily on the skin and gets absorbed even easily. Coming to the fragrance of the body lotion it has a floral aroma (guess because of Geranium Essential Oil) which is quite soothing and uplifting. The fragrance fades away as soon as you apply the lotion. I would have loved if the fragrance lingered a bit, as it is soothing and calming. But since I have a sensitive nose I don't mind if the fragrance doesn't linger.

The body lotion hydrates the skin sufficiently and moisturises normally. The skin doesn't feel overtly moisturized or no sticky residue is left behind, considering the fact that it has butters in it. The lotion offers around 8-7 hours of moisturization, considering the fact that I have normal body skin. After 7 hours my skin it's overtly dry or I don't feel the need to reapply the lotion. However applying post 7 hours is recommended if you have dry skin.

Recommendation
Overall the moisturising lotion is a good option for moms-to-be and new moms considering the fact that they are paraben, silicone and mineral oil free. Since there are not many products suited for pregnancy and post pregnancy use, this one is totally recommended.

First and foremost let me tell you all how much I love handmade soaps especially the cold processed ones. Cold process soaps are the ones made from scratch unlike melt and pour soaps wherein a base is melted and different ingredients are added to make the soap. I especially love soaps which use butters since they are very moisturising and make the skin soft and supple. Let's check what the soap we are reviewing today has to offer.

Brand claims
Scented with gentle maychang palmarosa and sweet orange essential oils. Very gentle cleansing and mild, moisturising soap.

Ingredients
Organic Almond oil, Spanish extra virgin olive oil, raw unrefined shea butter and organic coconut oil, noushing carrot powder, papaya, honey, turmeric and organic desi cow fresh milk cream.

My experience
Let me rave about the packaging of the soap. The semi transparent silky potli bag, the degradable outer plastic bag, the paper wrap and the cotton thread. All the packaging material is either reusable or degradable. Such a thoughtful message the product carries with itself.

Now coming to the fragrance of the soap, it has an amazingly earthy yet yummy fragrance. I cannot describe the fragrance in words although, once we hold the soap in our hands and smell it we instantly feel like taking a quick bite! I am pretty bad at describing the fragrance actually, I mean how to describe what we feel when we breathe a fragrance?!

Advancing over the business part, the soap lathers quite well and the foam is frothy and not bubbly. I like exactly this quality of all handmade soaps that they just don't lather for bubbles they lather for cleansing 😁. The soap does a good job of cleansing the skin and I do use handmade soaps on my face too (never faced any problem though). The fragrance isn't lingering at all. Since the fragrance is due to the essential oils used (mentioned in the ingredients list) it fades away quickly. I cannot tolerate a lingering fragrance for long as I get headache due to it. So that is not a problem at all. Also please remember any lingering fragrance usually is artificial fragrance which is made up of many chemicals, so better no fragrance than a bunch of chemicals.

Coming onto the effects of the soap, the soap didn't dry out my skin but it didn't leave it soft also, as I had expected. Although the soap cleanses thoroughly well, when we try to smell the soap while bathing it emits a washing bar sort of smell not a strong one, only picky noses like me would be bothered with this. Also the soap doesn't diminish in size as normal handmade soaps do, so that's a plus point. Summing up the In and Out below.

Recommendation
Almond Shea Carrot Papaya Soap is one of it's kind flavor soap which doesn't disappoint you on the fragrance front as well as packaging wise. I did like the idea of fragrance using essential oils instead of using artificial fragrances. Also packaging used is reusable and degradable. I would not say it is a must teyo out soap but it would definitely love up to the expectations of a good handmade soap.

Gulnare Pumpskin Face Wash
Gulnare has nice product range, however I haven't purchased any products considering the price range. I liked the Aloe Vera and Vitamin E Face Cream received in the June box as well as the scrub in July Box. If you are following my blog you might be knowing that I use dry powder cleansers and may skip this as I don't want to again change my face acre routine. This is the third full size product in the box.

Votre Multi Vitamin Face Masque
After having a good experience with Votre Advanced Multi Vitamin night Cream, Votre Absolute Hydration Moisturiser and Votre scrub, am looking forward to trying this Masque which is a multi vitamin one. The product received is 30 gms deluxe sized, but as you all know a face pack goes a long way with as a thin layer also does the trick.

Recommendation
Overall the box has come a long way from providing sample size products in the initial Editions to full size products along with popular brand sample size products in the latest edition. I really like how the products are selected keeping the season and theme in mind. I am really happy with this month box. I have always longed for brands like Votre, Gulnare Skincare and TNC but never purchased any full size products due to their high price range. This box gives me the opportunity to explore these brands keeping my budget in mind. Totally recommended this month's Monsoon Makeover box.

Being a Mom is not an easy job and all the Moms out there can outrightly relate to me. With the many changes happening in our body, we do face changes in our skin also. I was one of those women who faced pregnancy pigmentation very early, that is in my first trimester. As the pregnancy progressed, so did the pigmentation 😭😭. Although, am proud that I am a Mom to a beautiful and naughty kid 😍, at times I do feel low due to pigmentation ( I am a human, right 😑). So today we will be reviewing a product which claims to bring back your glowing skin back after pregnancy! Hop on now.

My experience
As stated earlier I like the packaging of this product also. It has an inner lid for non spillage of the purpose. The jar is quite light weight inspite of being big. The product itself has inner jar which is protected by an outer jar which we see in pictures.

The mask has a very soothing peppermint fragrance which is not so strong, so as to be bothering for the nose. The face mask is greyish green in colour. The colour has such a hue which is hard to describe. The mask has a good consistency which is neither being thick nor runny,  just perfect for ready to use. It spreads easily across the face and we can easily use even hand for the application. The face mask doesn't dry up since it contains oils and butter and I like such masks.

After applying the skin gets a cooling sensation without any itching sensation. After keeping the face pack for a good 20-25 minutes I washed it offto see a glowing skin soft. The pigmentation marks have faded a bit with each alternate day usage over the past few weeks. It removes dead skin cells as well my making them soft which can be brushed away post washing. The skin feel squeaky clean and fresh with each use.

However, when in between I stared using the product, once a week I found it less effective on my pigmentation. When we use the product consistently over a period of 2-3 weeks with each week usage of alternate day, we see immediate and noticeable difference in the pigmentation. I find the mask to be a great option for new mums to bring back the glow and treat pigmentation at the same time. This product is on my repurchase list already as the quantity lasts longer because a thin layer of mask also works great.

Today I wil be reviewing another product form Blue Nectar which I had received lats month. I have already reviewed the Blue Nectar Shubhr Ayurvedic Sandalwood Brightening and Radiance Cream. Let's head straight to the review without wasting much time.

Brand Claims and Ingredients

My experience
The product has a luxurious packaging similar to the Sandalwood Cream which I have reviewed earlier. So I would go for into it, but would just like to mention that even though the jar looks heavy it is light weight.

Coming the fragrance and texture, it has a royal sandalwood fragrance and a creamy texture. The consistency is a but fluffy and colour of the product is yellow with minute scrub particles. The product at a glance looks like a dessert made up of Almonds. Each time I try the product, I somehow conrl my temptation to eat it.

The product initially feels a little creamy while applying as a scrub. But as and when you keep on scrubbing the creamy base melts into your skin (like a cleansing balm 💕) making it smooth and soft, while the scrub granules scrub off the skin. I didn't find any tingling sensation around my sensitive nose area while using this scrub. I did remove the dead skin cells from my face but it didn't have any effect on the white heads. Also I never expect any scrub to work upon my black heads. So I didn't expect this scrub to do the black head removal.

Once the scrub melts into the skin, it leaves behind an even toned, soft and supple skin. When I use this scrub at night time I skip my moisturiser, while during day time I use a light moisturiser post using this. The scrub particles are appropriate in size, not too small and not too big. Also I prefer my face scrub to be mild enough like this. According to the claims to the product, it does give an instant glowing skin with each usage. However the working on fine lines, dark circles part I cannot confirm since I don't suffer from fine lines and I haven't tried the scrub near my eye area. However I have seen very small improvement in pigmentation with 8-9 uses of the scrub. Regular usage may result in decreased pigmentation and results may vary from person to person.

Since I am not a person who would expect a scrub to work on pigmentation as well as do the scrubbing part, I find the price point high. I would like my scrub to just remove the dead skin cells. However a Kumkumadi Tailam enriched scrub does sound good, keeping in mind the results with prolonged usage of 2-3 months.

The Blue Nectar Kumkumadi Brightening and Radiance Face Scrub can be tagged as a luxurious skincare product which lives upto the expectations of a good scrub. However addition of some ingredients like Saffron, Kumkumadi oil can be attributed to the high price point of the scrub. Regular and prolonged use of the product will definitely be beneficial to the skin but, I would love buying the product on a discount and would categorize it as a luxurious skincare product. So if you are a luxurious skincare freak you should try this one. Also if the brand could make a similar scrub at an affordable price it would be an icing on the cake 😊.

I never used to apply face masks and et al previously when in college and office. But one thing I still regret is, not using an under eye cream during my 20s (yes I just entered my 30s 😭😭😭). Even today while applying my night cream, I need to remind myself to reach out for an under eye cream. And then laziness takes over and I sleep without applying an under eye cream. How nice it would be, if the cream you use can double up as an under eye cream as well. Today's review is about one such under eye cream which can also be used as a face cream. My experience
The packaging is similar to the Mama Earth C3 Face Mask, although being a little small. The packaging is secure enough to be carried around, but the cream may spill if you tilt the jar while opening. I like the packaging of all Mama Earth products to be honest.

Now coming ro the consistency of the cram it is a but runny sort although not gel. The cream is beige (very light beige) coloured with milky consistency. I like the consistency as it's easy to spread and beneficial for my oily acne prone skin. The runny consistency is a but problematic once you open a jar and try taking the cream out. Due care has to be taken not to tilt the jar as it may lead to spillage. The fragrance of the cream is light floral which isn't over powering as well as non lingering. The fragrance fades away as soon as we apply and isn't that noticeable. I have a pretty sensitive nose which when introduced to strong or lingering fragrances sneezes a lot. So that cream is a perfect fit for my taste and choice of fragrance. I find a little similarity between the fragrance of Mama Earth Nourishing Body Lotion and this cream. Nonetheless both have nice fragrances.

The cream sufficiently moisturises the under eye area as well as the face when used as a face cream. The cream gets absorbed faster than thought. It is not a light weight cream. When applied during day time, if doesn't give an oily feeling or greasy feeling. But we do feel that we have applied something. I get too conscious while using it as a day treatment for both under eye as well face. I prefer using it as an under eye as well as face treatment as a part of my night care routine.

The cream instantly gives a little glow to my skin and gives a little mattifying effect. The under eye area feels smooth and hydrated. I have noticed very small change in the fading of dark circles in the past 2 and half weeks. However while curing dark circles we also need to pay attention to our sleep hours, diet, gadgets' usage time. My dark circles are mainly due to lack of sleep and screen time (🙁☹️). So this cream is helpful in hydrating the under eye area as well as reducing dark circles over a period of time. I really like how this cream doubles up as a face cream as well. So while travelling we don't need to carry separate creams.

Recommendation
I would totally recommend the Mamaearth Under Eye Cream as it doubles up as a face cream as well. This is specifically helpful for lazy people like me who often forget to take care of under eye area inspite of taking enough care of face. The cream also makes travel packing lighter as it can be used as both. And being available on Amazon is definitely an In for people who frequently buy on Amazon (Like me 😀). This is a definite repurchase for me!

No matter how much I brag about powder cleansers, foaming cleansers are here to stay. The alluring packaging, the fragrance and oh my! the variety with different ingredients. I agree they are cheap (some are super expensive too), travel friendly and easy to use, no denying the fact. Today I am reviewing one such foaming face wash which is by the brand Auravedic. My experience
The product is packed in a double lid plastic tub like most of their tub packaging is. I own a handful of Auravedic products and I find this packaging travel friendly as well as no leaking. Coming to the consistency of the product it in in a balm consistency and it foams as soon as you add it with water and run between your palms. The colour of the product is nice light orange and it has an earthy, oily fragrance. Nonetheless I like the fragrance very much. Sometimes I feel like eating the face wash. But I try not to eat it 😁😂😁😂.

Now they say that we need to massage it on face by dampening the face. I was doing it whole wrong by making a foam first and then washing the face. Either eays you do it the face wash instantly lightens up your skin and makes it clean and glowing. I majorly like this face wash as the first ingredient in the list is Kumkumadi oil, as if it's more of washing your face with oil and I absolutely love this idea. The face wash doesn't remove makeup and all but, it's good as a morning cleanser as well as night time cleanser if you double cleanse at night.

The face wash didn't dry up my skin even after using almost 4 times a day ( yes I do that sometime). The face wash makes the skin plump for a while and makes it oh so glowing 😊. The face wash didn't cause me acne breakouts or didn't even sting my sensitive nose area like other foaming face washes. I absolutely adore this face was, but saldy this one has been discontinuing by Auravedic and I would like to take this opportunity to tell the brand to bring the product back in stock, or else send me two tubs 😁😊.

I have used this face wash quite a times and found it to be ok sort. Since I am not much into foaming ones, this sometimes tends to dry up my skin.

Votre 5 in 1 Skin Perfecting Cream
Votre is a luxurious brand which has almost many of it's samples in VanityCask box. Votre is a vegan, certified and luxurious skincare brand. I am executed try out each Votre product received in VanityCask till date, and believe me this one is amazing of all. I used it quite a many times and it gets absorbed like a charm in the skin. It is especially suited for the coming winters. I will post a full review on this soon.

This is a total new brand to me, but going by the ingredients list of the oil it sounds good. Last month also there were two hair care products from a new brand. To be honest I rarely experiment with my hair. So I don't know if I will use this or will end up giving it to my haircare freak friends or not.

Apart from these we have received some spa vouchers from Loccatine and similar. Overall speaking and comparing the box with the previous ones, I am gald that at the box price point we receive Votre, Gulnare, TNC products which aren't budget friendly brands and are a class apart on their own. It's a good choice to try out luxurious skincare products which aren't budget friendly. And how I miss Gulnare in this month ☹️.

If you all know me or follow my blog, you may be knowing about my switch to powder cleansers. After making the switch very few foaming cleansers (of course the SLS and SLES free ones am talking about) impress me. Recently I had reviewed the Auravedic Kumkumadi Pulpy Face Wash which is my go to face wash when am lazy to use powder cleansers. Another one favourite we will be talking about it today. I had received the Gulnare Pumpskin Face Wash in one of my VanityCask box. Read onto know more.

My experience
Tue face wash is packed in plastic bottle with a metal lid. Packaging is convenient to use as well sturdy. I have dropped it quite a few times and it has been sting enough not to break. Also I have carried it with me during my current travels, and it's totally travel friendly.

Coming to the face was fragrance it has an aroma of pumpkin which is kind of sweet, edible and fruity sort. Sometime I feel like eating it, but then I think about my skin and brush off my thoughts. Also the consistency of the face wash is thick and it takes time to dispense from the bottle. I like this consistency so that in a hurry we don't spill the product. The texture face wash is a bit pulpy sort, like some pumpkin puree. Nonetheless I love everything about this face wash right from its fragrance, consistency and texture.

The face wash nicely cleanses the skin while removing all dullness and dirt, sweat from the skin. The face wash doesn't dry out the skin at all, no matter how many times we wash our face. As you all know Castile Soap is used as a gentle cleanser for face which is 90% olive oil. Moreover the face wash gives an immediate glow to the skin after washing the face. The glow lasts for about one hour. It also makes the skin soft and smooth and I keep on touching the face as I couldn't resist touching my soft skin. Overall am really happy with the face wash and may buy the full size when spotted on discounts.

Although I would agree that it is on a pricer side, but keeping in mind the ingredients in mind, the price is justified. I would totally recommend the face wash to all skin types.

Today's review is about Svayam Natural Glow Pack. I have read some really nice reviews by my fellow bloggers about this brand. So when the brand got in touch with me for a review I was excited to try out the range. The product is a very versatile one since it's in a dry form, leaving room for usage as per our convenience and preference.

My experience 
The product is packed in a glass jar with a metal lid. The packaging is convenient to use and not heavy also. We can easily scoop out using a wooden spoon because of the wide jar. I will be reusing the jar once the product is emptied.

Coming back to the review, the product has all the information printed on the jar. The product has a mesmerizing rose and sandalwood fragrance. The moment you feel you are sniffing rose fragrance Sandalwood takes over your sense and vice versa. The experience of this fragrance is truly amazing!

The consistency of the face pack is a bit grainy. The face pack is versatile as we can add milk, rose water or curd according to our preference as well as skin type. I like exactly this fact about the ready-to-make face packs unlike the ready-to-use ones. After applying a thin layer all over the face, as the face packs dries the skin gets a stretching feel. Nothing to worry, it's all about moong dal in the face pack. Once we splash water and start removing the face pack (which is quite task as the pack becomes little hard) all we can feel is soft and smooth skin. After removing the face pack the skin gets an instant glow on the face. Also the face pack helps in gentle exfoliation due to grainy consistency. Overall I liked this face pack for it's cleansing as well as glowy after effects.

Recommendation
I would definitely recommend the Svayam Natural Glow Pack as a face cleanser, scrub as well as a face pack. Looking at the ingredients list I would say beauty is simplicity caption would be appropriate for this product. It cleanses and makes the skin glowing. It is definitely a good option to treat your skin to some real ingredients which are beneficial to the skin. I would love to repurchase once this is over 😊.

Today we will be checking a review of Quint Essentia Organic Rose and Vanilla Face Scrub which claims to be good for skin and is made up of all organic ingredients. Let's head straight to the review.

My experience
I have received the product in a cut out packaging which isn't resealable. So we need to store the product in another empty jar or in an air tight container. However this is a sample size product, so I ain't complaining. Although I didn't find any information regarding this scrub on their website as well as the full size packaging details.

Now coming to the product, the scrub is grainy in nature which isn't harsh at all when rubbed vigorously also. The scrub has a sweet vanilla fragrance coupled with a hint of rose. The fragrance is beyond description and you should feel or experience it to believe how amazing it is.

Now coming to the effects of the scrub, the scrub, it effectively removes the dead skin cells and makes the skin smooth each usage. After scrubbing we get a clean and fresh feeling to the skin. I tried applying it like a face pack also, after recently being obsessed with multi tasking products (read powder cleansers). But application of a scrub as face pack is a but difficult as the grains keep on falling, still I did and I was pretty impressed with the results.

Using it as a face pack for 2-3 minutes and then scrubbing revealed a very soft and smooth skin. Also the skin gets a very nuce glow which lasts some 1 or one and half hour. Overall I was pretty impressed with the Quinta Essentia Organic Rose and Vanilla Face Scrub as a good face scrub for all skin types. Moreover the ingredients are natural and organic so we don't have to worry about any nasty chemicals being used up on our face.

Moreover the ingredients are organic in nature and the product performs a dual job of cleansing as well as scrubbing. I will recommend the product if you are into organic skincare as very few brands offer totally organic skincare.

My son, who turned 3 recently, is a restless creature. He doesn't likes being wiped by a towel after his bath, he hates it for some reason. So applying a cream to his body is a real task for me. My son has sensitive skin and the paediatrician has recommended Cetaphil Moisturising lotion for him. But the cream being sticky in nature, he doesn't like the feeling of applying lotion. My experience
The product is packed in a squeeze up tube and the cap is quite tight and hence is non spilling. Although this is a big quantity product, smaller sizes are also available in this. The packaging is attractive as well as travel friendly (barring the size).

Now coming to the consistency of the lotion, the consistency is creamy and thin. It's neither a heavy kind of lotion nor thick emollient in nature. The cream spread easily onto the skin and gets absorbed even more readily than that, into the skin.

The uncanny thing I noticed about the lotion is that it has a very very subtle fragrance which only sensitive nosed people can detect. You can even go on and say it has nil fragrance. Once you take it on your palm and try to sniff it, an oats kind of fragrance is experienced. No sooner you apply the lotion than the fragrance fades away immediately. I have come across only one such lotion which has zero fragrance. As we all know, sensitive skin like that of babies and small children, should avoid fragrance at any cost and this one rightly fits my son's sensitive skin needs.

The lotion leaves behind a soft and hydrated skin which looks nourished and healthy. The Lotion is not at all greasy or oily and doesn't leave a residue feeling on skin. Nonetheless my son doesn't even feel like I am applying a lotion and still gets a soft skin 😁.

Although I apply the lotion to my skin in the morning after bath, I didn't feel the need to reapply it. Although it's not a winter season now, else a reapplication in 24 hours maybe needed. Summing up in the Recommendation part.

Kama Ayurveda Rose Jasmine Cleanser
Kama Ayurveda is pure love according to me. This face cleanser is sheer delight for the oily skin in terms of cleansing, fragrance and travel friendliness. Although priced a bit higher, it can be categorized as a luxurious skincare product. It effectively removes the excess sebum without drying out the skin, exactly what is needed by oily skin.
Priced at 375 INR for 50 ml and is available in Kama Ayurveda stores and online.

Although all of the face washes listed above don't dry out the skin, it is important to keep in mind not overdoing the cleansing part with foam. The more you cleanse an oily skin the more sebum it secrets. Also, limit using foam cleansing up to twice a day maximum. You can clean your face with a powder cleanser in between to give the skin a breather from chemicals. Always remember being minimalistic works when it comes to troubled, oily skin.

After becoming a Mom, my life has changed a lot. Believe me I never used to wash my hand before having a meal. But after having a kid, I often wash my hands before feeding my son as well as before having food. Sometimes it's not feasible to wash your hands especially while travelling by bus. Now that my kid has grown up we often travel by bus as opposed to train, as the train journey takes longer hours. So when we have limited water supply or no soap or hand wash facility, a sanitizer comes to the rescue. Today we will be checking the review of Himalaya PureHands hand sanitizer, which was s available in 5 variants.

The packaging is travel friendly, with flip cap top. Caps fit in tightly, which makes them non spillable also. The available product is in 50ml, 100ml and 250ml capacity.

The product claims to be effective on bacteria and fungi with a self drying gel formula. No soap and water is required after the usage of the hand sanitizer. I cannot claim that it kills 99.9% of germs, as no product on earth can kill 100% germs. The good thing about the hand sanitizers is that we don't have to look for a soap, hand wash or water to sanitize our hands before eating or doing some important work.

The variants available in Himalaya PureHands hand sanitizer are Green Apple, Strawberry, Litchi, Orange and the one with Lemon Fragrance. I avoid using products with strong fragrance and that exactly what is the Strawberry, Litchi and Orange variant. I like the normal one with Lemon Fragrance and Green Apple variant.

Due caution is to be taken while using a sanitizer by a kid and adult supervision is highly recommended. Also as the product is highly inflammable, should be kept away from fire. We should avoid contact with eyes, sensitive areas and broken skin. The product is strictly for external use only.

Overall the product is a good option to sanitize your hands while travelling or at times when we don't have access to fresh water and soap to wash our hands with. I often carry this while travelling my kid to keep hands germ free before eating.

I have already reviewed the Svayam Natural Glow Pack, which I liked a lot. Today's review is about another face pack form Svayam Natural, the Orange Peel Face Pack. The product being in a dry form, leaves room for usage as per our convenience, mood and preference. I usually like to experiment with such products and use them as a cleanser most of the times.

Brand Claims - Skin Polishing & Brightening | Anti - Tan

Ingredients - Orange Peel, Sandalwood, Turmeric

My experience 
The product comes in a wide mouthed glass jar with a metal lid. The packaging is not heavy in weight. I will be reusing the jar once both the products are emptied.

The product has all the information printed on the jar. It has a peculiar turmeric fragrance coupled with a bit of orange peel fragrance. Some may not like the fragrance.

The consistency of the face pack is a bit grainy. The face pack is versatile as we can add milk, rose water or curd according to our preference, mood or/and skin type. After applying a thin layer all over the face, as the face packs dries the skin gets a itching sensation for initial few applications. It's due to the orange peel in the face pack I think. Once we wash our face and start removing the face pack (which comes out easily) we can notice a soft and clean feeling of the skin. After removing the face pack the skin gets an instant glow on the face. Also the face pack helps in gentle exfoliation due to grainy consistency. I even used it on my tanned feet and it showed some noticeable effects, but to fully see the effects one needs to be regular with the usage, which I wasn't, so I cannot claim anything on tan removal.

Overall I liked this face pack for it's cleansing as well as glowy after effects. The only complain I have is the face pack keeps on falling every now and then as there is no binding ingredient in it, or maybe it's my personal experience. The face pack application is quite a task in this case and so I prefer to use it as a scrub or mix with besan and use it.

• Show little difference in tan removal, but regular usage is required for noticeable difference

The Out

• Would be great if the grainy consistency can be reduced to a little milled one
• Also would be good if there is some binding in the product so the face pack doesn't fall once it dries

Price, Shelf life and Availability - 415 INR for 100 gms with a shelf life of 2 months. Available on Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Shopclues. Although I feel if we don't let water enter the jar, the product would definitely last longer than 6 months.

Recommendation
I recommend the Svayam Natural Orange Peel Face Pack as a face cleanser, scrub as well as a face pack. It cleanses and makes the skin glowing. It is definitely a good option to treat your skin to some natural ingredients without overtly bombarding it with chemicals. I still like the Sandalwood Rose face pack over this if given a choice in between the two 😊. This didn't impress me much as expected.

This is a good product according to the price point as well as the season. It is dual benefit cream which moisturises the skin and also protects skin from sun damage. The cream is formulated with ingredients like Liquorice, Vitamin C, Wheat Germ oil.
Key Ingredients - Liquorice, Vitamin C, Wheat Germ Oil, Tio2, Orange, Radish, Cranberry Fruit extracts and Pomegranate Extracts.
Price - 2250 INR for 30 gms , 30 gms quantity in Box.

Mom's Therapy Body Oil
In Diwali we perform Abhyang snan which is a ritual to be followed for 5 days of Diwali. Since in winters skin becomes dry, performing abhyang makes the skin moisturized and soft and supple. I am happy to see a body oil in the Box and how keeping in mind the Festive season it has been picked up 😊.
Key Ingredients - Black Sesame Oil, Vitamin E Oil and Essential oil.
Price - 135 INR for 50 ml, full size in box viz. 50 ml

Biotique Morning Nectar Visibly Flawless Skin Moisturiser
This is the only third product I am using from Biotique and I haven't explored the brand yet, so trying this product would be a good idea. Also the moisturiser is a bit thick and keeping in mind that I get dry patches in winters it would be a great choice.
Key Ingredients - Behada, Methi, honey, Ankurit gehun, Kusumbi, Back, lotion Q. S
Price - 199 INR for 120 ml, 120 ml in the Box.

McCaffeine's Caffeine Shampoo with Hibiscus and Vitamin E
I am a bit sceptical while using new shampoos and hair care products. So I might give this one a miss. Also while going through the ingredients of the shampoo on the packaging I noticed it has Approved preservatives/fragrance. No information of the Body or Organization which approves preservatives and fragrances in cosmetics and health care brands is mentioned. I mean approved by whom FDA, USDA, ECOCERT or self approved 😂😂. Anyway jokes apart, a product needs to be as transparent as possible 🙂.
Key Ingredients - Caffeine, Hop Seed, Hibiscus and Vitamin E
Price - 479 INR for 150 ml, 50 ml quantity in the Box.

Thalgo Assorted Creams and Exfoliators
Thalgo is a French brand, which specializes in skincare products formulated with algae and marine extracts. The box has three intensive action creams and exfoliatior. Products are Gentle Exfoliatior, Melt-In Smoothening Brightening Cream and Silicium Eye Cream. Eye Cream sounds amazing as for eye area very little quantity is required. Samples provided are 2-5 ml.
Price - Full size ranges from 3452 INR to 5693 INR. Quantity in box 2-5 ml

Overall speaking Festive Edition Box is quite satisfactory keeping the contents in mind. Right from under eye to body oil, it is curated keeping festive season in mind. Moreover this time no vouchers are provided by any brand or spa, as usually the vouchers have a time limit or price limit to avail and not everyone is keen on that. Except Thalgo and Votre all other brands are ok sort so no particular brand like TNC or Gulnare to look out for. But keeping the festive season in mind it covers all aspects of Skincare and Haircare.
